Jammie Cocoa-Coffee

It has been way to long!! I will hopefully go back and fill in the gaps over Christmas break. Oh wait, who am I kidding, Christmas Break doesn't mean more time for mommy, it means one more kiddo at home:) We shall see….
Tonight, we jumped in the car to drive around and look at Christmas lights. The boys put on their Christmas jammies and ate marshmallows. Harper does not like chocolate, so there goes the cute of idea of drinking hot cocoa. Mommy and Daddy needed coffee…We were able to drive around for 20 minutes before someone started to fuss. Before we started, I said the rule for Jammie Cocoa was that everyone had to be happy. Seems simple, but I have four hand-sy boys! We made our final stop at the Dearing Dazzle Display. Our neighbors have done it once again. A one hour light show complete with snow, bubbles, scented dry ice, lights galore, music, candy canes. Totally Awesomeness for kids! Sadly this is the last year, so we will probably go many more times this week. The kids loved every minute we were there.

When we got home they decided they wanted to all sleep upstairs. I am happy to report, I have 4 slumbering boys all in the same room:) It is the little things. I am so happy they love each other…or did at the moment. It has been a long week folks!

Big Boy Room

Bye Bye baby beds, helllllo big boy beds! We have turned the triplets room into a frat house. I managed to make the big transformation the week of day light savings…Oops! I continue to suffer from toddler fatigue syndrome and repeatedly make poor decisions. There room looks super cute, but it has been quite an adjustment. They are learning all about freedom! The first 24 hours in their room caused quite a few tears for boys and mama. Lets just say they had a dirt fight in their room. Their sheets did not even make it 2 hours before having to be washed-they were completely soiled-no pun intended….The succulents next to their beds were real!!! I had no idea---Oh yeah, dirt in every crevice of their room and body part…

A Few Fall Favorites

We went to our church's annual Fall Festival on Sunday evening. The boys had a great time and enjoyed being with their grandparents. Harper wanted to be Uncle Si from Duck Dynasty and the boys went as Thing 1, 2, & 3 again this year. I am all about EASY!

I think this picture is so cute and so Duck Dynasty! Those bearded men all have beautiful wives that are always dressed up! Love that Lauren was wearing sequins!

I was in charge of the little boy's preschool party. So here are a few treats we made for the class.  The boys were so excited to have me at the "Skoool!"

BUHC {2013]

We had a great weekend in Waco for Baylor's Homecoming. Traveling with a family of 6 is easier said than done, but I am happy to make memories with my clan! Since I did not go to Baylor I usually leave the planning up to Cam. We have not missed a homecoming in the 9 years that we have been married.  We have also never gotten a hotel room prior to the week before! Like I said, I leave this weekend up to Cam:) So after being denied at every hotel in Waco, Cam booked us a room at the Knight's Inn!! Not sure if it was a "pay by the hour" hotel, but it was going to be interesting with the fam.

Our friends recently bought a travel trailer and had decided to stay at the Lake Waco Marina. So the day before homecoming we found a cabin at the Marina to rent. We thought anything had to be better than the Knight's Inn! So we arrived at cabin aka "Fema Trailer" as we called it all weekend. It was more the size of a doll house, but we survived! It had a crawl space/loft where we tried to have the boys sleep, but at 3 am we had to get the pack n plays out of the car! The first night was rough, but the next night was great. There is never a dull moment with us!!

We hit up some favorite eateries while we were in town and enjoyed hanging out with old friends. The boys were great little travelers...we kept them out late and got them up early!  Cam and Harper went to the game while I stayed back with the littlest bear cubs.  I do not know if Baylor set some kind of record, but the city was flooded with people. It probably has something to do with them being ranked #8 and undefeated.

Sunday morning, Harper and Cooper fished for 4 straight hours with out a bite! They are serious fishermen.  The boys enjoyed golf cart rides and snacking!!

We headed back to Conroe and couldn't wait to bathe!! Love my clean boys in fresh jammies. To finish off our exciting weekend Harper pulled out his 4th tooth! Looks like the tooth fairy will be visiting tonight!

Sic'em Bears

Cam is a huge Baylor fan. He spends hours reading up on the latest recruits, rankings, new stadium, and Baylor Nation stuff. He is obsessed. I am happy to support is love of football, so we went to Waco for a much anticipated game. Harper went to football camp this summer so he understands more about the game this year. I am also trying to pay more attention and follow along this year. I caught myself watching ESPN the other day:)

Hampton went and had special time at Addy and Poppy's house for the weekend. Hogan spent the night with Bearpa and Cha-Cha, so Huddy went with us to Waco. The boys were SOO good in the car and really all day for that matter. When we got into town we stopped by the Baylor bookstore to load up on some BU wear.

Cam wanted to get to the game early so the boys had time to play football and get the wiggles out before the game started. Harper and Cam signed a beam that will be in the new stadium.

Every time I try to take a picture of Harper playing football he got down in the above position! I guess he learned that at football camp too!

At the very end of the game they kids were allowed on the field. So I guess that was one perk of staying to the end of a 70-7 win over ULM! It was JK's birthday so we caught some special attention from a player!

We stopped by Bush's chicken on the way home...a little family tradition. The boys were asleep 5 minutes later! Such a fun day making memories with the boys!
