Mexico

No changing diapers or feeding babies for 5 days, begins in 10 minutes It seems like a logistical nightmare to get away for a couple of days, but it is so going to be worth it. I am typing this as I wait for my friend Angela to come pick me up. So excited, but I thought I would recap my morning before I forget. Why is it always hard for Mama's to get away?

6:15am Cam leaves for a meeting in Baytown

6:30am Harper is yelling for me because he wet the bed, what??

6:45am Hampton wakes up because of a poopy diaper

7:30am I get a phone call that school is cancelled because the electricity is out

Seriously? It seems like when it is my turn (or moms in general) to get a little break something always has to happen. What a crazy morning. Mimosas were waiting for us when the limo arrived, yes we rode in an excursion limo....haha!

I love cruise wear! This was the first sight I saw as we were getting on the ship!

* I am happy to report that I made it safely back from Mexico. I had the time of my life on the Carnival Ecstasy Walmart of the Seas. My friends made the trip super fun. The ship left a lot to be desired, but I can not complain because I did what I wanted to do, did not.... wipe bottoms or tears, cook, feed babies, or send anyone to time out! I think we will be taking a annual girls trip. I took a handful of pictures on our trip, but my camera is bulky and I wanted no responsibility. Here is a little proof that we actually went on vacation!

Back to School

Harper started preschool this morning. He is in the 4 year old class and will go 3 days this year. I was a little sad just thinking that he will be away for 3 whole days. We have really gotten spoiled being together for a whole month. I took him out to run errands this week and he complained the entire time. He said he just wanted to be home with his brothers. So sweet, I guess this heat is really getting to us all! He has been an only child for almost 4 years, so I thought he'd want to be with me alone and it would be like the old times. Those days have come and gone. I can't believe how fast time is flying by, I have a 4 year old and three 4 month olds!! Big Boys. Harper will also not nap at school this year. We still nap at home so this will be a huge change. I am hoping to still nap on Mondays and Fridays or at least implement "rest time." Mama is not ready to give up naptime!!

I love a good routine and schedule so I welcome the start of school. I also love this time of year... a fresh new start to school, buying school supplies, football games, pumpkin lattes... I love everything related to fall, I guess that comes from teaching 2nd grade. Apples, Pumpkins, Johnny Appleseed, Halloween, all so much fun to teach.

I absolutely love his teacher and I am so excited that his best buddies Gentry and Cooper are in the same class. I was pregnant with their mamas and they are 2 of my best friends. I LOVE that our boys are growing up together. I can already see the graduation slide show.....I need to SLOW down!

Baby Dedication

We dedicated this boys at our church this morning. Thankfully the actual dedication went great, the boys were angels and did not even make a peep. Our church service starts at 11 and that is also the time the boys eat. I was so nervous they might scream during the ceremony and that would be horrible because it is hard enough to hold 2 babies much less console them...and on stage! So I am happy to report that they did great, Harper even managed to stand still! On another note, the boys ALL had to go to the bathroom before the dedication and after they were dressed....WHITE knee socks, shoes, Feltmans....what a combination! We went through 5 outfits!! And that ladies and gentleman is why I have to get over the triplets matching!! It is a rarity!

After the service our family came back to the house for a home cooked meal. It is so nice to have both sets of parents close.

OSU

We love the Big 12...especially OSU, A&M, Baylor, and KU!! Here are some pictures of the boys in their "Go Pokes" outfits. Thanks for the new wardrobe Abby! We are ready for football season!!

Eat'n

My boys are now 4 months old. The doctor cleared us for rice cereal!! I was so excited to feed them with a spoon and put them all in high chairs. I am absolutely loving this again. They are cooing, smiling, swatting, kicking, and giggly babies. They are eating and sleeping so well and have really adjusted to a schedule. They have been eating between 7-8am then at 11, 2, 5, and 8. They are all doing well with formula out of a bottle. My friend Abby was visiting fro Oklahoma so she witnessed my attempt to feed 3 babies. Hilarious! I was certain Gordito, Chubs, Big Huddy.....(the list goes on) would live up to his name and LOVE rice cereal. False. He SCREAMED through the entire feeding. He likes milk and he likes it FAST! None of the boys were particularly fond of the spoon or the white stuff. I tried again in the morning and it was a little better for Hampton and Hogan.

Abby had to feed Hudson another bottle to calm him down!
Hampton the Happy...Seriously, this boy is ALWAYS happy!

Super Six Pack

Calling All Super Heroes

Harper had a SUPER 4th Birthday at Pump it Up. I took the easy way out this year and did minimal planning. It was so nice to just show up with the cake and leave with presents. I think we might do something like this for every birthday. Harper had a blast jumping with his friends and I loved watching my  boy be so happy. He is so social and loves to be with his pals. My friends were so cute and dressed up their kids. We had Molly Kate the Great, Super Cooper, Thunder Thighs, The Canon... just to name a few. Ashley made the triplets cute onesies that said Hudson the Hungry, Hampton the Happy, and Hogan the Hyper! Too cute.
