Splash Day 2012

The very last day of school was Splash Day! Harper insisted that I come and swim! ha ha I decided I would come and take pictures instead. We enjoyed a special lunch before we headed out for some fun in the sun! I love that Harper has been at FBA for 3 years and we are choosing to buy the gift of time for one more year...Kindergarten (prep). I love his school, teachers, and classmates. Preschool has been a great experience, but I can't believe I will have a Kindergartener on my hands soon!

The Three "Wee" brothers

I have been really bad at updating what is going on in the lives of 3 precious and busy munchkins! So here is the Reader's Digest version of what they are each up to...

Lets start with Hampy, who is fondly called Hamponita more often than not. He is a MAMA'S boy! He  is in my arms always and as difficult as it is to juggle being a mama to 4 little boys, I secretly love that he is so cuddly. You can always count on Hampton for a smile, he is going to work me over big time as a teenager. Oh dear! He has the most teeth, and I am in love with his toothy grin. His clothes are always wet, not from spit up anymore (thank goodness) but from drool.  We found out that Hampton is allergic to strawberries. He had a major reaction last month, but we are hoping he will grow out of this. Fortunately, that is all that he is allergic to. This boy can eat!! My grocery bill has already doubled with three little one year olds. He LOVES bananas and will "Go bananas" if he doesn't get one every morning! He signs "more" as soon has he spots something yellow. Hampton is pulling up but not standing on his own. He is top heavy, and usually head-buts his way into my lap.  He loves to play peek-a-boo, but only covers up one eye which is absolutely adorable. He is slowly becoming more independent, but only for a few minutes.

Hogan is walking at this stage in the game. He started taking steps right at 12 months, but at 13 months he has the hang of it! I am so proud of him, but once again it comes as no surprise. He was the first to roll over, crawl, and now walk. And he was just as busy in utero. I am in LOVE with his sweet dimples, his dimples even have dimples!! His smile is absolutely precious! Hogan likes to be in charge, aggressive, but usually only if be aggressed. Well sort of, he loves to steal toys.  He is a fast crawler, and will beat anyone to first dibs on a paci lying on the floor. He loves to throw everything out of his crib when he wakes up from a nap. Hogan is a carnivore, he loves all meat! I have yet to give him meat that he doesn't like. Lately he has been mistaken as Big Huddy. I guess all that meat-eaten has made him grow!  He has huge hands for a baby, so Cam has reason to believe that he is going to be built like my dad.

And last, but certainly not least is Huddy. I think we might just need to change his name on his birth certificate! He is our talker. He says Mama, Dada, Bubba, Bye-Bye, and roars like a lion. He also loves to play peek-a-boo with his hands or a blanket. He dances to music and loves to play with any toy that makes a sound. He squeals with delight when he throws a ball and could probably be content with only a ball. He throws the ball and then crawls over to it. repeat x100. The more I think about it, he is kind of obsessive. He will pick one toy and hold on to it. It is usually one of Harper's nerf gun bullets or a medicine syringe. He loves to eat, but savors his food. He is always the last one finished with dinner. Milk is his drink of choice and I often refill his sippy cup in one sitting.

I love my precious triplets. I love my beautifully crazy life and I could not do any of this with out my number one helper of a hubby...
We love when Daddy comes home for lunch on Wednesdays while Bubsy is at school. These guys love to crawl all over their daddy.

Last T-ball Game

I was so proud of Cam for stepping up to the plate and coaching Harper's baseball team this year. He watched the movie "Courageous" and it made a huge impact on his decision to coach. I think all the kids benefited from him coaching. I am probably partial, but I was so proud to watch my boys in their designated roles each week. Harper is quite the little ball player. He was very hesitant to play at the beginning of the year, and now he LOVES the game! It probably helped that his best buddies were on the same team.  I did my best to video each week, but at times it was a little tough wrangling three little munchkins as well.

This will probably be our last year playing at the YMCA. We are hoping to try out CAYB and play fall ball. So bye-bye T-ball, hello summer!

A Fun Filled Friday

We are gearing up for summer around here. We have 3 days of school left before our summer officially starts. I have been searching the internet and researching local kid-friendly places, so we are certain to have a fun filled summer.......ex: My family recently discovered Kids Eat Free on Wednesdays at Lubys, this is going to be a weekly outing....yes we are that family!)

So today we had a spontaneous fun friday. Fun-Friday is a state of mind, I let my type A personality go and it is all about the kiddos. I really enjoy not having anything that we "have to do" on Fridays and I think the kids enjoy each others company. So today we played with friends, worked on our alphabet, discovered that the garage door is a magnet, and learned how HOT Texas is in May.
