Last Thursday, we loaded up the car and drove to San Antonio for Cam's regional meeting. It just happened to be Cam's birthday too! He was his usual selfless self and obliged to lunch at McD's per the boys request. We managed to find one with an outdoor playground which worked in our favor! *Naps*
The regional meeting is always lots of fun so we were glad everyone rested up! We are pretty laid back on vacation....well we try to be! That took on a whole different meaning after having triplets!! I knew we wouldn't be making the 7pm bedtime.
We are lucky that Cam, Bearpa, and Uncle Casey are all in the same region, so this was kind of a family vacation.
Our room was not ready when we arrived so we played "Corn-hole" before unpacking. The first night they had a welcome dinner. It is always super fun for the kids. My boys were obsessed with the balloon guy! Harper had his face painted multiple times and played football on the dance floor! The little guys just chased Harper around and danced the night away. It was a lot of fun to see the boys so happy!
The following morning Cam had meetings until lunch so I ventured to the pool with the boys. Thankfully Harper was able to push the single stroller because I was not about to walk with all of our loot and boys in tow! We started out at the lazy river, but that was a fail since I didn't have another adult to help. So we found the baby pool and attempted to
play eat there, until nap time. I don't think I will ever get over the stares and attention we get with having triplets, especially 2 year old triplets! The screaming adds for even more attention!
I should have taken more pictures, but we were on vacation and I tried to be more "in the moment." And my camera seems to be SO big lately. Here is a cute pic of my boys...Cam and I took turns taking the boys to the park while we showered for dinner.

And since we were in San Antonio we decided to make a trip to Sea World. I knew Harper would love it and the boys were free so even if it was a total fail we wouldn't be out that much money. Everyone loved it but Hudson. He cried and held on to any one for dear life while repeating "Bye Bye" over and over. Maybe we should haven't started with Shamu!
We had a great "mini" vacation. I like traveling as a family. It has taken on a whole new meaning, it is more exhausting than ever due to our big bunch, but it is all so worth it. With that being said, I am happy to be home sleeping in my room with Cam only!!
