| Vamanos, on the way to the airport on a cold and rainy morning |
Hola! We are back from a great trip to Mexico with half of our family. Hampton and Harper went to Mexico...(we choose based on ABC order for those of you curious) while Hogan and Hudson had a stay-cation with the gparents.

| Check out the lines OUTSIDE the terminal....3 days after United and Continental Merged..UGH! |
Long Lines, Holy Moly we stood in line forever. THe boys were SO good despite the busy traveling day. When we arrived at the airport the line zigzagged 5 times. We stood in line for one hour before finding a secret underground check in. Crazy! We breezed through the first hurdle and then there was security. Harper was scared to walk through the machine and then was a little freaked out when the officer escorted me to a different area. They tested my hands and said, "She Failed, Bad, Real Bad!" I am pretty sure it was my spray tan! haha, but I got seriously frisked, every cavity..no joke. It was a long process, but they finally released me. We made it to our gate with 5 minutes to spare. Luckily our flight was delayed so we got to sit and rest for a minute.

It was noon and I thought Harper, aka snack attack, might be getting hungry. So he and I went to find a pretzel. He stood on the walking escalators and prided himself on not taking a step. So this excursion took a while. when we got to the counter he had a mini melt down about wanting a cookie. As I was paying Cam called and said we needed to come on, like now! We ran the entire
two miles .2 miles to the gate as they closed the gateway. Whew!! Last people on the plane.

Hampton stayed in the Baby Bjorn carrier and Harper was busy looking at the snow, I mean clouds! I think the SEVEN pieces of gum he chewed helped. When we arrived at PV airport we had to get through customs...it only took one hour. Ugh! SO over lines, but once again my kids were more patient than me. We were quickly escorted to our Suburban and off to Grand Velas Resort. We arrived and had some ice cold Hibiscus tea and then off to explore. Harper was grinning ear to ear. He said "Awesome" over and over. What a sweet memory.

| They polished off the mini bar....they have oreos!! |

We ate some excellent Mexican food and met up with The Williamson Fam. Cam and Eddie went to Baylor together and they have 2 boys about our boys ages. Harper and Cal were instant buds.

| Batman, with his first smoothie of the trip |
 |
| Borat..the aftermath of face paint..ya, that was some war paint, did not come off for 3 days! |
We woke up to a delicious breakfast on our private balcony. What a treat to be served breakfast. We loved the fresh air!

| Harper aka Borat and Cal |
After breakfast we headed to the pool. Wow, they had the best baby pool just perfect for the boys to get around in. Hampton loved the water, well he loves being in mama's arms so I guess he would be happy anywhere. Hampton was so chill on this trip. He had lots of snuggle time every day and usually was content to be outside.

| On our way to Frida with my big H |
We ate dinner at Frida and enjoyed some Haute Mexican Cuisine with The Williamsons. We made reservations for 6 pm each night. I think people thought we were crazy for taking our kids with us, but we just embraced the craziness.
 |
| This picture was next to our table...I laughed so hard when I saw this..Harper's eyebrows looked like this for the first part of our trip! |
 |
| Haper with a Shirley Temple and sherbet...her loved vacation! |
We but the kids to bed and ordered coffee. Cam and I said outside at played Gin on the balcony! Fun, we were in bed by 10pm.
