The Aquarium

The week after school let out we loaded up the boys and headed south to the Aquarium. I had driven by the Aquarium numerous times, but honestly I never thought to stop. I was on the computer researching fun things for us to do this summer and I stumbled upon the Aquarium. Tuesday was B1G1  free so I thought it was worth a try. We invited our best buddies who are always up for an adventure.  First ride the, the underwater train! It was pretty neat, the boys loved looking at the sharks and sawfish. It was pretty cool to see them magnified. Harper is currently obsessed with sea life after our recent vacations to the beach.

After the train we ventured out to the ferris wheel. Harper was very unsure of this at first, but I think we ended up riding it 3 times. He loved it! The Aquarium is right off of the highway so we had some pretty cool fews of Houston.

By this time we were HOT! It was time to cool off inside and see what other exhibits they had. The boys loved seeing all the "creatures" behind the class. This was like a mini zoo inside. I enjoyed watching their faces as they explored. Gentry even got brave and touched a sting ray and crab. We ate inside the Aquarium, but next time I think we would bring a picnic lunch. Before heading home, we let the boys splash in the fountains. They were not very entertained. I guess they are growing up! Hogan enjoyed it though:)
