I LOVE family time. I know we are a crowd, but I absolutely love doing fun stuff as a family. So when it was time for Conroe's Crawfish Fest we were there! We pass downtown on the way to pre-k each morning and Harper has been inquiring about the rides every day. He was thrilled that today was the day that he got to ride! The carnival did not disappoint. We got Harper a wristband for unlimited riding. He had a blast riding ride after ride. They had a mini roller coaster called The Caterpillar. Harper rode it 11 times!! He did not even get off and get back in line. He would just raise his hand to show the carney his bracelet. It was hilarious, the carney must have liked him because he never made him get back in line. We had to drag him away. We finally left, way after bedtime, and he crashed before we even left the parking lot! Fun times!!

Six Months Old
| Hudson, Hampton, Hogan |
They are growing by leaps and bounds. Just six short months ago they weighed five pounds and now I can't carry them very long. When we go out in public people always comment on their size, they don't look like typical triplets. These guys are
Six Month Stats...
Hampton 17 pounds 15 ounces 25 1/2 height, 17 1/4 head circumference
Hogan 17 pounds 14 1/2 ounces 25 1/4 height, 17 1/4 head circumference

Hogan and Hampton continue to be our active little guys. They rolls like crazy! I always put them on their back and they instantly roll. This has made for lots of floor time and less bouncy/swing time.
Hudson prefers to be on his back or in my arms. He loves to snuggle, sometimes at the most inopportune moments!! Hogan is the closest to crawling, he gets up on his hands and knees and kicks. This is hilarious to me. He can plank really well too, which is really cool to a certain big brother who thinks Hogan is Superman!!
One of the best things about this month is seeing their different personalities develop. They all love to be tickled and their laugh is just the sweetest thing ever. Hampton loves any type of attention. He is seriously content, I could learn a few things from this little fellow. He loves to "talk," goo being his favorite word. Hampton enjoys eye contact. I think we could just have a staring contest during playtime and he would be thrilled. Hogan enjoys moving, he loves to stand on my lap and really likes being lifted in the air. He was really vocal for a week, but recently he has stopped screeching. Hudson is my serious guy. He will hold a single toy and stare at it intently. He is going to be our little engineer. He loves to touch the face of whomever is holding him as well. I guess we are always pinching his cheeks! Hudson also holds the record for the loudest cry. This guy knows how to call mama!!
This past month the boys had their first ear infections, all except Huddy. We had a few sleepless nights because of congestion and ear aches, but other than that they continue to be great sleepers. Their last feeding is at 7pm and the usually fall right to sleep and wake up at 7am. They sleep with a white noise machine and do not wake each other up, the same goes for nap time.
The boys have loved adding rice cereal and veggies to their diet. Two weeks ago I started alternating spoonfuls of carrots with their cereal. They goggled it right up. So far they have tried carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, and peas. I have made the majority of their baby food. I was feeling ambitious one afternoon and made carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, apples, bananas with cereal, and green beans. It was really simple and way easier than I expected. I am not going to make any promises, but I think I will continue doing this.
Some of the boy's current favorites include...Harper, play in the exersaucer, going for walks, grabbing at anything, sucking their hands, being held, watching Praise Baby and Baby Einstein, and family time.
Happy Six Months!!

Sick.
Well I knew the day was coming when my household would get sick. I remember reading about Ashley's kids getting the stomach bug, and remember thinking how crazy sick triplets would be! Well I can now attest that it is CRAZY! Harper has Strep throat and Hampton and Hogan have ear infections along with thrush. I wish I had more hands!! Everyone. wants. mama. I remember wanting my mom when I was sick, so my heart breaks not being able to hold each of them all day. We've had lots of snuggles though out the day, but it is still hard. I just hate ear infections, I think I need to invest in an ear probe. I wish I could catch those horrible things before they escalate.
Addy and I took the sick boys to the doctor, while Poppy and Hudson played at the house. Thank goodness for family! Our doctor was so great to work all of us in at a minutes notice. He said we would probably all end up with strep, so I am popping amoxicillin like it is candy. Mama can not get sick! It is so tough separating the boys and their things. I mean pacifiers, blankets, spoons, cereal bowls, toys, they share everything! I feel like I spend the majority of my day sterilizing, washing, organizing, and disinfecting. I think it is going to be impossible to not share germs.

Boys, baths, and bumbos
I bathed the boys in the Bumbo today. Greatest tip ever, thanks Alli!! The boys aren't sitting up yet and they don't really enjoy being reclined in the tub. It cracked me up seeing them in the Bumbo, i kept telling them they were tubing! So excited for a fun new routine. I guess the Bumbos aren't totally worthless after all!

Hudson is our serious fellow. He is a gentle giant, lovingly known around here as Big Huddy, Gordito, Humpty Dumpty, Moose... He explores everything right in front of him. He loves to grab and grip a toy and just stare at it intently. He will smile, but he is stingy with his smiles. I rarely catch a good smile on camera because he is too busy trying to figure out what my camera is!
Hogan is our active guy. He is a rolly polly, the days are over where I can put him down and he will stay in the same place. He loves tummy time and will scoot for a toy. I think he is over his silent reflux because he never makes a fuss unless he is sleepy. He squeals and screeches loudly, it is hilarious! He sounds just like a cat and grins while he talks all day long.

While I was getting Harper ready for a bath he sticks his hinny in my face and toots.
Me- Harper Heathcott that is gross!!
Harper- Mom, I am just showing you my LOVE!! (said in this super sweet voice)
What??!! I think this sums up my life with boys!
