| Hudson, Hampton, Hogan |
They are growing by leaps and bounds. Just six short months ago they weighed five pounds and now I can't carry them very long. When we go out in public people always comment on their size, they don't look like typical triplets. These guys are

Hogan and Hampton continue to be our active little guys. They rolls like crazy! I always put them on their back and they instantly roll. This has made for lots of floor time and less bouncy/swing time.
Hudson prefers to be on his back or in my arms. He loves to snuggle, sometimes at the most inopportune moments!! Hogan is the closest to crawling, he gets up on his hands and knees and kicks. This is hilarious to me. He can plank really well too, which is really cool to a certain big brother who thinks Hogan is Superman!!
One of the best things about this month is seeing their different personalities develop. They all love to be tickled and their laugh is just the sweetest thing ever. Hampton loves any type of attention. He is seriously content, I could learn a few things from this little fellow. He loves to "talk," goo being his favorite word. Hampton enjoys eye contact. I think we could just have a staring contest during playtime and he would be thrilled. Hogan enjoys moving, he loves to stand on my lap and really likes being lifted in the air. He was really vocal for a week, but recently he has stopped screeching. Hudson is my serious guy. He will hold a single toy and stare at it intently. He is going to be our little engineer. He loves to touch the face of whomever is holding him as well. I guess we are always pinching his cheeks! Hudson also holds the record for the loudest cry. This guy knows how to call mama!!
This past month the boys had their first ear infections, all except Huddy. We had a few sleepless nights because of congestion and ear aches, but other than that they continue to be great sleepers. Their last feeding is at 7pm and the usually fall right to sleep and wake up at 7am. They sleep with a white noise machine and do not wake each other up, the same goes for nap time.
The boys have loved adding rice cereal and veggies to their diet. Two weeks ago I started alternating spoonfuls of carrots with their cereal. They goggled it right up. So far they have tried carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, and peas. I have made the majority of their baby food. I was feeling ambitious one afternoon and made carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, apples, bananas with cereal, and green beans. It was really simple and way easier than I expected. I am not going to make any promises, but I think I will continue doing this.
Some of the boy's current favorites include...Harper, play in the exersaucer, going for walks, grabbing at anything, sucking their hands, being held, watching Praise Baby and Baby Einstein, and family time.
Happy Six Months!!
