We started out our Easter Weekend by dyeing Easter eggs on Good Friday. Harper has been dieing (haha) to do this since Spring Break. I bought this little contraption at Target to color eggs. You push down on the top causing the eggs to spin and the paint to splatter. Pretty awesome and mess free. I originally bought it so that the little guys could participate, but lets face it that would just be a lot of work and crowd control!! Maybe next year...
We woke up early Saturday Morning to head to an Easter egg hunt at Heritage Park. This was the little boys first year to "hunt eggs." Unfortunately, there was no announcement so we missed part of the egg hunt. Some sweet kids shared a few eggs with the boys. They had no idea what they missed. I tried to get a group pic....
Here are the
Harper was a pro at egg hunting. He does not need any motivation when candy is involved!!
I think these next two pictures are hilarious. Cooper found his mommy's camera and the boys proceed to have a photo shoot! Lots of bum shots....ALL BOY!
It was already lunch time, so we picked up at CFA platter and headed of to Uncle Casey's new house for lunch. It was move in day, but the house was still pretty empty. The boys LOVED running around...in their diapers (the buttons popped off of their outfits) and jumping on the bed!!
We headed home for naps and rested before meeting up with Bearpa and ChaCha at the Bentwater Easter Party. We missed the egg hunt, but had fun playing in the sand and just being outside with family. It was a gorgeous day!
ChaCha packed a cute little picnic dinner for us. The boys loved eating on the blanket. Hogan took his cracker and found a place in the grass where he proceeded to say "Cheese." He loves his picture taken!
